Crispy Sooji Fingers

Sooji/semolina   1cup
Water  2 cups
Brahmins chilli powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Brahmins Garam masala ½ tsp
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Oil for deep frying


  1. Heat a pan and add the water. Let the water boil and add salt, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala and 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Add the sooji to the mixture and mix well
  3. Continue mixing until the mixture thickens
  4. Cook on a low flame for 2-3 min. Then let the dough cool for 5 min
  5. Knead the dough and roll small portions into fingers
  6. Fry the fingers in oil and serve with tomato sauce/ chutney
