Brahmins - Best Sambar Powder
Ingredients
Toor Dal – ½ cup(60g)
Chopped Vegetables – 2 cup (300g)
Brahmins Sambar Powder – 3 tablespoon (18gm)
Coconut oil – ½ tablespoon (8ml)
Tomato – 1 Nos.
Ladyfinger – 2 Nos
Salt to taste
Mustard (as required)
Turmeric (as required)
Dry Red Chilly (as required)
Curry Leaves (as required)
1 cup of water – 250ml
Preparation method
Boil the washed Toor dal in a cup of water (10min) 3-4 whistles in a pressure cooker (5 min).
Add the chopped vegetables along with salt and a pinch of turmeric powder in 3 cups of water & cook.
When it is half boiled (10min) add tomatoes & ladyfingers to it and boil well (10min). Add Brahmins Sambar Powder and stir to boil well (3 min).
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, curry leaves and red Chilly. Once it is ready pour it directly into the sambar.
Now delicious Brahmins Sambar is ready!
