Brahmins kadala curry
Ingredients
Raw Kadala (Chickpea): 150g (Soaked for 5hrs in hot water).
Onion – 1 small size
Tomato – ½ piece
Ginger – 1 small piece
Chilly – 1 No
Coconut Oil – 4 teaspoon(20ml)
Brahmins Kadala Curry masala – 3 tbsp (18gm)
Coconut milk: 100ml (½ cup)
Curry Leaves (as required)
Mustard (as required)
Salt to taste
Preparation method
Pressure Cook the soaked Kadala in a high flame with salt for 5 whistle and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard with curry leaves and red chilly.

Add chopped onion, ginger, tomato, salt, and sauté until the raw smell has gone.
Add Brahmins Kadala Curry Masala and sauté in low flame.
Add cooked Kadala along with the stock water & boil well.
Reduce the flame then add Coconut milk (if needed) and stir well.
Delicious Brahmins Kadala Curry Masala is ready to serve
